La Vetrichina is located in the heart of the peaceful countryside near San Casciano dei Bagni, an ancient village not yet discovered by masses of tourists. The 2,000-year-old SPA town has recently undergone complete restoration. This house offers you everything: a retreat, a tourist base and an opportunity to relax. The owners of the villa left Rome in 1992 to live in this beautiful area, and have carefully restored this property using the traditional Tuscan materials. Milvio and Marina still reside on the property and, whatever your question or request, are extremely helpful, still offering complete privacy to your group. They both speak excellent English. The house has 7 lovely bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. It is ideal for a large family or groups to share. There is a large living room with an attached terrace and a large dining room which also has an outside covered terrace with a beautiful hand painted table and chairs, ideal for outdoor dining or just relaxing. There is also a small guest house which can comfortably accommodate 2+2 people. We know you will leave feeling you have new friends in Tuscany!

Additional Information If you can bring yourself to leave the house, you are close to many charming tourist sites in Tuscany and also in Umbria. For example, you can reach Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Assisi, Todi or Orvieto within one hour. In addition, you are 20 minutes from Chiusi train station and can be in Florence in an hour and 10 minutes, and Rome in an hour and 15 minutes.
