The well-known windows (a bi-fora and a tri-fora) overlook la Rocca di San Gimignano, the old Florentine Fortress and the busy pedestrian street of Via San Matteo. The apartment offers 2900 sq ft of luxurious in-town living where guests simply step outside and stroll through the streets full of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Guests can walk to the butcher, the vegetable store and to the baker to do their grocery shopping, like stepping into the past. The residence was recently restored using authentic materials and finishes characteristic to Tuscany while also updating to contemporary amenities. A contrast of old and new is seen & felt throughout the distinctive home. Original terracotta tiles and antiqued travertine tiles are mixed with rich leathers creating a truly unique and luxurious space. The property is on the 2nd-4th floors of the building it is located in (there is a restaurant on the ground floor). Please note that there is no elevator and guests must walk up approximately 50 steps to access the apartment.
